She closes her door like she’s done for years.
There’s excitement, sadness, and a few little fears.
Her lone foot steps echo, as she walks down the hall.
She’s earned her “new life”, She’s given her all.
The Retirement she’s worked for, just a few steps away.
The moment has come, it’s her final day.
